FLEX is a development process model that is oriented around the value streams of an organization. It combines different sections of the value stream into an integrated whole, making it easier to see how changes in one part of the value stream effects and is effected by other parts of the value stream. This modularized approach enables it to be readily tailored to the context of any organization without having to leave any key elements out or having to have more complexity than is needed.
This webinar will both present FLEX and how one can use it to improve their development process regardless of the size of the organization. FLEX is currently being incorporated into PMI’s Disciplined Agile
Al Shalloway

Al Shalloway is the former founder and CEO of Net Objectives which was recently acquired by the PMI. He is now Director, Thought Leadership of Agile at Scale programs. Al was a co-founder of Lean Kanban University as well as a former SPCT, contributor and gold partner with SAFe. Al is the developer of FLEX, a comprehensible approach to creating effective value streams in all sized organizations. Al is the primary author of Design Patterns Explained, Essential Skills for the Agile Developer, Lean-Agile Software Development, the Lean-Agile Pocket Guide for Scrum Teams, and The Leanban Primer. He has a Masters in Computer Science from M.I.T. and a Masters in Mathematics from Emory University.
